Actually, I've once heard the opposite... That CAIs perform better on dynos because they are out of the engine bay when the car is standing still, whereas more air goes under the hood for a WAI in the real world.

...but as you said, who knows. :S

man idk. lol. there is jsut a surge of power that comes at 4k for some reason. idk why. it felt like secondaires when i had my pop charger, and at 4k, the car would start hissing like it was turbo or something. i cant explain it very well.

go figure.

Alright SR20RR gurus......need help finding a header. Which header fits the best for a b15? How do i get rid of the check engine light? 2.5"secondary is a must. Would this fit?

all the headers for sr20de's fit the same. email them, see if its a 2.5. if it is, thats on heck of a deal, and if the quality is up there, lmk. i have been meaning to gran a header for the longest time now.

^That header has a 2.5" downpipe, it was already confirmed by someone else.

Anyone else have any input on getting a header for my RR? Should i look for a used HS Gen 5? How many bungs should my header have?

Now the HS is out of the game, it doesn't matter as long as it's 2.5" really. Go with what you can afford. You only NEED 2 things on the header:

1. EGR inlet
2. Primary (upstream) O2

The header in that ebay link has a 2nd O2 fitting on the down pipe (b pipe, whatever), since that's where it is located on the OE setup. You don't want to use that one. You will want to plug that one. You will want to extend the wiring of the 2nd O2 to behind the cat and have an O2 bung welded in. If you leave the 2nd O2 sensor before the cat, you'll get an SES light.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I just purchased a 2001 Nissan Sentra SE with the 2.0 engine with the 5 speed manual transmission. It is the SR20DE. I need help. Does OBX or ANYONE make a header for my car which fits? I have ordered an HKS catback exhaust and need a header in the next 10 days.

Will the 1999 Nissan Sentra SR20DE header and exhaust fit onto the 2001 Nissan Sentra SR20DE SE B15 body style? Is the chasis different? Would the exhaust or header have to be modified in anyway? Can anyone help me with this?

you could actually help yourself and do a little searching because all of your questions have been answered many of times. you can also search around on b15sentra.net for the answers as well. good luck
