since you can order it in 3" i'm assuming you can get it in 2.5 as well

Is there a way to order the Stromung in 2.5"?
Anyone have any idea if they Fuji header would be that much better than say a 2.5" SSAC for my application?

Please keep me informed if you're able to order a 2.5" Stromung. I may be changing my HKS soon. It is choking down my VE.

As for the Fuji vs SSAC, I have not yet seen any concrete comparison numbers on a DE to tell.

I don't think I've even heard of a Fuji on anything other than a VE but I haven't been back on the SR20 forums for awhile. If the SSAC falls apart, I'll just buy another one. Then if that one falls apart, I'll buy a third....and it'll still be cheaper than the Fuji!!

Agreed, you can still make power with the 2.5" ssac model...

I used to have this setup on my SE, prior to getting a stuck valve, making the crossover to the VE mandatory .

AEM CAI
SSAC header
HKS exhaust

It made decent power on the butt dyno, but I never had the chance to put it on a real dyno, nor have I ever put it on a drag strip. I was using it on track days, and with good suspension mods, it was still a blast to drive.

By the way, I've had my SSAC for 3-4 years now, and I have yet to break it. I'll be changing it for a 2.5 inch collector model this spring (planning to order it this month).

No mention of a VRS exhaust? Aren't they reasonably priced?

http://vrsexhaust.com/VRS_CAT-BACKS/NISSAN_CB/nissan_cb.html After shipping and adding on a resonator...the Stromung is cheaper and will sound 100x better.

^^
I hear you. The "fireball" style mufflers are too loud and attract too much unwanted attention. That + track noise regulations that have been popping up everywhere since the last 2-3 years is enough to make me steer away.
