Heater control speeds ?
I did a search but came up empty, So to my question my heater only works on speed setting 4? I replaced the switch and the motor but still only on 4/max
what else am I missing?

Yo need to change the resistor card that is underneath the blower. It is more less the size of a credit card.

Probably a long shot but do you have a pic of this resistor card? I looked and really didn't see anything under there, not saying it isn't there just I didn't see it

Look for the harness, you´ll see a couple of screws to hold it. You must crawl under the dash, just below the blower.

Blower Motor Resistor, first thing I had to replace when I got the car as well.

Definitely, this is your problem. The part is something like $15 from a dealer that gives a discount (or a source like Greg Vogel).

So I got a NEW one and put tested it before I put ti back in and the card got warm/hot is this normal?

It is a resistor. Current flowing through resistance generates heat, as long as its not getting excessively hot, and everything works right, I'd say its ok.
