Dang Rob you still breaking stuff?!?! lol #1 reason i hate working with exhaust parts! especially oem! i had that happen to my s13 b4 and to 2 cats, once in my s13 and b14 b4 it got stolen from beside the car.....lol
I'm going to suggest something that may freak people out.
If its the stud under the oil catch can, leave it. I've broken 2 on 2 different engines, and I've never had an exhaust leak there.
As a matter of fact, on my first motor swap, the JDM DE made 135whp with I/E, so I would even guess it's not even enough to create any kind of gap or turbulence.
I think the that stud is designed to break and is not supposed to be overtorqued. (That is my opinion and it is not fact.)

I broke that one on my lowport installing a header, I used a good drill bit, and an easyout from Sears, had the old stud backed out of the block in about 10 minutes, with the engine in the car.
make a simple bracket that bolts on adjacent studs, spot weld a hardened drill bushing in place exactly over the bad hole and then drill the bad stud out. Use a carbide bit if needed.
