I've bought OEM ones and they're right around $8.

Damn that's good, I went to my local dealer because I bought a set for my Altima, they were not too expensive and a perfect match color and style. For my B13, he said "$25" or so, I said cool. Came back to pick them up and they were not $25 for the pair, they were almost $25 EACH. After the "Oh-sh**" I just paid, I know the parts manager well and they were special order, he was nice enough (?) not to ask for full pre-payment. I've bought stuff there for 15+ years, just my ignorance not to ask him for paper on the parts before he placed the order.

I didn't want to screw him since the rush of people off the street looking for $50/pair Genuine Nissan part window cranks = 0, so OMG I just handed him the $$$ and took my little Nissan boxes with me, OUCH!

That hurt. Knowing they could be had for $8 each, that really hurts

I agree it looks a little bright for my tastes... but from the pictures you posted, the install looks very clean. Good job.

I'm thinking about doing a Black or Dk. Grey Suede liner along with painting the pillars to match. I've never liked the grey interior pieces.

2. i highly suggest useing black fabric to recover the headliner instead of grey........breaks up the grey in the interior and looks great with the grey pillars.

Not too fond of the gray myself, either. i was thinking a darker color either black or a very dark gray maybe, too.

AZ and SoCal cars are famous for cooked dash problems, I know the dash is easy to remove entirely, just need to find one in good shape. No local yards nearby, have to do some hunting.

The original dash's foam is well-broken down, and repairing it would be pointless.

Thanks for the info!

My contribution, the rest are in my build thread (see signature). I was pretty happy with the OEM color so why mess with a good thing?
