Yup no problem.

Nice stuff. Gives pause to some cars where they use that instead of leather on the seats, door panels, dash trim - I always thought it was to save money, but good leather isn't that much more for materials - just a lot harder to work into seats, trim, etc.

Btw has anyone measured the B13 roof interior? My guess is a yard isn't quite enough, and (1 meter x 3 feet) is only slightly more than one square yard (about 39"x36" vs. 36"x36", less than one square foot more material).

Very nice work on the liner itself. Did the front pillars get something else, too?

This is what I have to fix, note the craters, too - that's why I thought the foam was thick, because I have those.



Other than the cracks in the dash, the rest of the interior is in good shape.
I even found someone with a new horn ($20) for the Skyline wheel, fills in the hole and it's the right one, too. The dash cracks are more and bigger than last year, I don't know if they are even repairable - there are 3 big ones now, and the middle one in this pic is bigger - seems like taking the car out of SoCal and exposing it to more humidity and hot/cold weather, the dash just sprouted new cracks. Now there is one above the glove box, and another through the console from the front almost back to the edge.

If you're talking to me, its just well-prepped and vinyl-painted. It has lasted 5+ years with no bubbling or chipping. And it looks great.

Yes, they look very clean and professional, that's why I asked, guessing maybe they'd been redone since the car was new. Mine are a lighter gray color, they show everything that has ever nicked or hit them.

Yeah, I don't remember the brand paint, but I haven't been able to reproduce the durability that the pillars have.

But I did prep the hell out of that one, and maybe I have been lazy on the subsequent ones.

for a plastic dye, i'd go with SEM. best stuff out there.

i bought a single yard once bacuase thats all they had left........it met my measurements perfectly...hooooow ever. once you start working it into the nooks and crannys you end up an inch or so short. its best to buy 1.5 or 2 yards. then you are not streching the material and it wont pull off in the corners.

ok a few other things to add.

1. dash boards are pretty damn easy to remove, i know there is a write up on the forum somewere. go to the junk yard and try to find one.

2. i highly suggest useing black fabric to recover the headliner instead of grey........breaks up the grey in the interior and looks great with the grey pillars.

3. every pic i have ever seen has window cranks that are turning milky. go to advance auto parts and look in the "help" section <"help" is a brand name) they carry the EXACT OEM replacement window cranks and they are uber cheap, like $8.
