Thread: What kinda Struts You Recommend????

With stock springs You will be fine with GR2's. They are equivalent to the OEM struts. Like everyone said if you want to run Hyperco or Road Magnet springs you will want AGX's and also maybe some Koni bumpstops.

agx's are an actual improvement over stock where gr2's are marginally stiffer, not worth mentioning. The agx's on level 1 are the same valving as GR2's and they get stiffer the higher you go.

do u know where i can get the agx level one....dont know yet what my plans are if racing or everyday but most likey everyday

Assume you have OEM or equivalent springs. I doubt they were upgraded ever. In this case you want the KYB GR2 struts. There is no reason to spend the money on the KYB AGX struts if you're going to use those springs for the foreseeable future.

You seem confused about the KYB AGX struts. They are adjustable, and the fronts have 4 different settings. The first setting is the same as the KYB GR2s, settings 2, 3 and 4 make the strut stiffer as you raise the setting. There is no way to buy "AGX level 1" struts. They are adjustable.

i thought there was 3 different type of AGXs....thanks alot u cleared my mind up!...so u i should get the KYB GR2 for 130?...
