Thread: What kinda Struts You Recommend????

ok my front struts on my 93 se-r are gone they are KYB ....i been checkin out some places out and i found a auto part store thats selling KYB struts for my car brand new for $130.00 a pair so just want to know if thats a good price or does anyone know any other place or web site i can check out where i can get something better....thank you....

KYB what? what kind of springs will you be useing? are you looking for direct replacement struts or upgraded?

i really dont know what springs i have but i will look into it and let u know back....just want something that will give me a good ride....so u think those KYB struts for 130 is a good price?

KYB AGX struts at that price are a damn good deal. KYB GR2 struts are OEM replacement struts, and that's about average retail price.

The easy way to tell is whether yours are grey/silver or red (OEM of course, not spray painted). Red are AGX, and silver are GR2. AGX also has the adjustable top section for the front. GR2's are not adjustable.

the struts are KYB GR2 wish they were AGX do u know any place i can get the KYB AGX for a good price?

just wondering is the ride better with the AGX? or is it the same as the GR2?

AGX better.............Mate them with some RM's or Hyperco's and koni bumpstops and you have a nice daily setup that will last awhile.
