Rim Size for B13, Suggestions
Looking for suggestions on what size rim to put on my 91 B13. I was thinking of going with 16 inch because that is what I had on my first one back in the 90s. I only plan to use these rims in the summer so I'll putting on a mid to high grade summer tire. I am hoping for a nice combination of performance and comfort.

Would love to hear peoples thoughts and recommendations. Also recommendations on the best place to buy would be great, I have been web searching but not finding much. I am hoping to find a 5 star or 6 spoke pattern in Grey or Sliver.

Do a quick search and you’ll find tons of information on this.

What I find personally is this:
15” for performance (unless you’re doing some serious big brake kit
16” for looks (less options and slightly heavier, but it looks better in my opinion)

Any other size doesn’t look right as I see it, but I’m picky. Now, offsets are another question but do some searching and you’ll find answers that are still relevant today, Even if the thread as a couple years old.

1) It sounds like you are actually looking for wheels, and not just rims. I recommend you use the proper terminology going forward.
2) In my opinion going up one inch from stock to a 15" wheel is perfect. This obsession with rubber-band tires never made any sense to me. Tire selection is MUCH better in 15" as well.
3) I think 7.5" wide is the best width to maximize 225 tires and avoid a lot of stretch you'll need for an 8" wheel. 7" can work quite well too, and is probably easier to come by.
4) The perfect offset up front on a 7" wheel is probably +28mm, but good luck finding wheels with this spec. You might have to use spacers to get things perfect.
5) The perfect offset out back on a 7" wheel is probably +33mm, but good luck finding wheels with this spec. You might have to use spacers to get things perfect.

Lol. Hey to each his own. I personally like a good old school five spoke like a Work RSZ-R (or Rota JSP-L). Or Kosei K1 for six spoke.

15s... ideal size is 15x7 with 205 50 15 but 15x8 CAN work --- we did this with 225 45 15s on our race car anyway
