Autoweek Junkyard Treasures: 1991 Sentra SE-R
Autoweek web article from March 22, 2016.

Not that interesting, but let's achieve every article. The junkyard is in Denver.

Cool. Looks like it has a Hotshot or Stillen header on it?

The writer makes a good point. Depreciation is at an all time low for these cars and so now is the time to gather them up. Interesting perspective of a road course car vs the Neons and Integras. I have zero experience with it as a race car choice but I see the attraction.

Phil (AKA Murilee, the author of that piece) will love my restored SE-R when I get it to the track. Maybe you'll see me in Autoweek.

Well get your ass to the junk yard there and pull some parts! There are likely some goodies there to be had.

Trackwise these cars can be made to compete with more powerful NA cars and the occasional small turbo compacts when equipped with a well set up VE and suspension mods and brake upgrades. Weight reduction helps tremendously in the power to weight battle. I've surprised many a driver on the track with my setup and am still making even more upgrades to represent the very few Nissans that still run here in AZ much less an SE-R. They have potential to do very well when set up right. We need to save these B13 SE-Rs before they're all gone. If Car & Driver loved it for all 4 years it existed to put it in their Top 10 that's saying something.

Yep I agree.. pretty much every single week, we lose yet another B13 to either an accident or scrap yard....

Another reason I hardly drive my b13 ser now a days. I would rather have it sit in storage that have some idiot hit my car and ruin it.
