Thread: Throttle cable snapped

So my cable didn't completely snap, rather the cable wire frayed right where it exits the firewall grommet. This happened while I was driving and did a 2nd gear pull, then my pedal got stuck at WOT. I immediately threw it Into neutral, shut the engine off and coasted Into a parking lot. Popped the hood and sure enough throttle cable was toast. I've taken out the cable already, going to get another at the junkyard. But my question is this: are there any other nissan vehicles that have a throttle cable I may be able to use for my b13? Only reason I ask is because b13's are hardly ever seen at my nearby junkyard.








Any help is appreciated it's sad not to drive her!

when i was taking a 600 miles trip my cable snapped half was through. I drove it to autozone and matched a cable with the same length. you can try that option.

Auto zone sells the the throttle cable.

I found a b14 at the wreckers today. Cable matched right up.
