Car dies rolling to stop and off throttle

B13 ser dies occasionally when slowing down for a stop or just slowing down to park. When i start it with the clutch (after it stalls) i have to remain on throttle (holding idle manually) for about 1 min or else the car will die out again. Started happening after shop fixed my jumpy idle. Any ideas?

The things that have caused this for me in the past are usually:

Bad connection at the water temp sensor near the oil filter
TPS adjustment problem

how did a shop "fix your jumpy idle"?
