I'll probably get blown up for saying it, but the NX was marketed to the, ahem... fairer sex back then, hence the automatic trans from the get go. A fun, cutesy little thing that was a bit of an awkward wallflower, even though the bigger brakes and radiator. I always thought of it as the uglier, slutier cousin of the SE-R. Fun for sure, but not one you'd want to take home to meet mom.

nope you are totally right. I mean, fuck, just look at the thing. it looks like a Geo Storm mated with a Civic. obviously for the females. BTW I love your "I always thought of the NX2000 as the uglier, sluttier cousin of the SE-R." that's gotta go in my sig

That would be Ruby Pearl Metallic AL0... without the pearl... or the metallic.

I almost feel bad about saying it, but it's how I feel. It performed marginally better than the SE-R, but that face, Jesus Christ. Not that the B13 sedan is a beautiful car, but at least it's a familiar, likeable design. With all it's angular quirkiness and goofy add-on roof I've always preferred the NX N13 over the NX B13.

People say, "It's just a Sentra". No one says, "It's just an NX".

I love my NX simply because it looks like nothing on the road and its a lot more rare than the SE-R in my opinion.
The NX is just the SE-R's fat sister.... lol

That's honestly funny as hell to me! Only comedy album I ever bought was Steve Martin. I did sneak and listen to some Richard Pryor 8-tracks in my young years. No secret that I'm old as dirt......

I figured not many would remember this bit. My grandfather had a few Redd Foxx 8-tracks. Hell, as a guy man I was just happy looking at them.

Yep, Red Foxx too, but Pryor was talking about pissing monkeys, that shit is always funny. Red was probably over my head at the time. Lol.
