This first one is from the Indiana Gazette (Pennsylvania), Tuesday March 26th 1991...

I have to ask... Would you mind verifying the date on that ad? Of course they aren't listing that they have the cars for sale, so it may have been a pre-production model from a car show that was on tour?

I believe I purchased my '91 in November '90, and it was the first one on the road in the St. Louis area, no dealer had sold one yet, and they were only being allocated 1 per month at that time.

^^^ That paper was incorrectly scanned into newspapers.com with the May 1990 date. I saved the image to it, not the actual page date. I'll have to keep an eye out for that in the future.

It was either that or someone stuffed a working Flux Capacitor into an SE-R, and you managed to find proof.
