Thread: sr20de RR swap

I hate to start a new thread but I am trying to get some hard evidence on swaping a RR sr20 into a 1993 b13 se-r . I have searched and read several articles about the engine but I am still left with a couple of concerns .

- engine management do I use the old sr20de highport harrness by extending necessary plugs with the highport ecu ?

- intake manifold I read that you can use a lowport manifold on the engine but would I have to use a newer ecu ?

Any other helpful information would be much appreciated . I have read the roller rocker thread a couple of times and would just like to clarify some things before I pull the trigger .

Take the high port out put the low port in. Swap over all the sensors, Done.

idk if ima do mine tomorrow or Tuesday but itll be this week, need to get a valve cover and a dip stick and try to find a mani for it.

@lynchfourtwenty i found a valve cover,, but i couldnt find a low port manifold, like it says i need,

for anyone who knows this info, i need it:

i just want to kno WHY i need a low port and why my original from my 92 b13 sr20 manifold wont work on the RR, just curious and want to know

Your stock mani wont fit an I already told ya why the rr one wont work

and of course on friday the junk yard had 2 g20s a 94 and a 2000 and come today the whole row is gone! fml! just my luck haha
