Thanks again guys, looks like we found the culprit... I hope.

I never got around to pulling the fuel rail off, BUT, pulled the distributor cap off, and we had oil.

Through some reading, apparently this is a semi common problem.
Couldn't for the life of us take it apart to get to the bad oil seal... screws stripped...etc.

SO, went to the 'zone and got a new distributor, BUT the fools we were didn't fully go over the new one.

The original distributor had a pig-tail connector, this new reman's connector is molded into the Distributor. The car harness can't plug into that.

I'm assuming there is a bit of difference in the Dist's but again, this engine is a red top p11 primera , and the car chassis is a US 94 sentra se-r.

The next step I guess is finding what Dist to get to make this work? Any clues on what to do next as far as finding the proper dist for the engine in the US?

Thanks again!

UPDATE:

Dizzy part number from car 22100 53j01 looks like it's the same from the G20 p10... even thought the receipt for the engine is a P11 primera ... which could be JGY's goof up.

22100-53J01 is an OBD1 Distributor and is most likely the original one that came with the car.

Crapa Zone sold you what sounds like a B14 Distributor if the plug is molded one or the wrong distributor all together.
? Does that Crapa Zone one have a spot for the coil wire to plug onto?

Here are screen shots of all of the distributor options for the P11, WP11 & P11E from JDM FAST.

JDM.P11.22100

JDM.WP11.22100

JDM.P11E.22100 (Only 1 option)

Good Luck!

Thanks dude, we ended up finding the right one from o'rileys. Put it in, and no avail....

So.... Running out of ideas, and I know that we haven't done the fuel rail pull and test the pulse of the injectors, but at this point I'm running out of ideas.... here's a recap.

We have tested good fuel pressure and pressure regulator. We have spark, good spark. Brand new distributor ( reman ) good wires and plugs.

For sure we have no fuel getting to the cylinders. Car runs on starting fluid with out any hesitation.

What else would there be to trouble shoot / would be causing the problem?
Thanks again guys

Through some more threads I've seen.... looking like we could be in trouble with a bad ECU possibly

Didn't quite find the right pin outs on what pins on the ecu would be tested for the pin out in the injectors. I'm hoping we don't have to go the ecu route.....

What fuel pressure did you get when priming the system ?

Did it hold pressure or fall off quick?

Where did you test the pressure at?

Tested 41ish lbs and it held, tested between fuel filter and fuel rail.....

I think I want to check the injector harness for pulses and rule out or in favor of the ECU. I've seen a few posts on it but not sure exactly the way to go about it.

41 is a hair bit low but that will not cause it not to start. You can try noid lights to verify that the ECU is sending signal or use a test light to trigger the injectors manually to verify that they have not froze closed.
