Thread: need clutch interlock switch part #

i have been searching for a clutch interlock switch (aka safety switch) for my car (91 nissan sentra se-r manual trans). i need the part number or where i can buy one online. i have been looking and can not find jack. i know it is not an expensive part but i can not seem to find it. any help will be usefull. is this switch identical to the stop light switch under my brake pedal? they look awfully similar......

You can just pull one from a junkyard. They don't go out too often. Just splice the new one in.

from what i have been reading around the net they do go out often and people usually just bypass the switch and do not replace it. well i found the info i needed.... for anyone else out there here it is.... part #25325-D4000 and courtesyparts.com carries it. i searched about ten online dealers and did not find anything till courtesyparts. good luck everyone.
