Thread: B13 hydraulic clutch conversion "how to" thread?

IIRC, I replaced the original cable with my swap 5 years ago. Since then I'm now on my 3rd cable....and I only drive my car 1/2 the year not driving it through the new England winter. The first clutch was from gregV, I don't even recall what it was. Currently I'm running a clutchmasters FX400 clutch + PP. I don't have anything torn apart but would be in my best interest with a rear main leak.....pretty sure that's what led to the complete failure of my first clutch.

where does the $100 come from? Those parts from the JY shouldn't cost $100? Sounds like you can source everything from the JY off a P11/b15/maxima. I'v read the Altima pedal works as well as the Maxima, can someone confirm? Also, everything applies to the b14 as well?

id love to go hydraulic but seeing how my b13 is Rhd i dont think it would be that simple....

That's a write up for a b14. Although its mentioned a few things are similar on a b13, is it safe to assume that entire write up is the same for a b13 in its entirety?

There's a better way to to do it using an Altima pedal assembly, but the info is spotty and not organized.

I'm not sure. I've tried looking just as you have because when I eventually get a hydro tranny set up I want to do the swap. I usually Google things then I get links to the forum..lol. I've only done a 5spd hydro swap on a s14. Sorry I couldn't help more.

I'm running a 94 Altima clutch pedal and master cyl. in my b13 with hydro trans/clutch system. It bolts right in if you enlarge the upper bracket mounting hole.

The Altima pedal is definitely the easiest to use in a B13.
Maxima pedal is close 2nd.
Leave the spacer on the firewall also.


I used the Maxima pedal with a B15 CMC.

kind of new to this so lets say i go with the altima pedal and master cyl i can use a stainless steel braded line to run the line to the trans instead of using a hardline? i can get these parts cheap since there are about 7 junkyards within 30 mile radius just want to know what parts i would truly need.
