Thread: intermittent starting and very low idle on a SR20DE

Yeah I did. I bought a new starter and that fixed the no start problem. For whatever reason when I took the starter to get tested at autozone, it worked there, but not in my car.

The low idle we fixed when my friend connected a separated vacuum hose on the three prong connector by the driver side axle.

Yeah. It was one of these vacuum hoses.

PS: sorry for the multiple posts. My router kept losing connection, and every time it did, I kept hitting the post button, thinking that it didn't post the reply.

Then shortly after that I had my temp needle bounce every time I accelerated. I wiggled the coolant sensor connectors and it stopped.
