Again, 17x9 "could" fit, but it will require some work and not may people have done it, hence why you are having difficulty finding anything............

Performance Tire Width | Yokohama Tire Corp.

Again, you do not need 9inch wide wheels to run 235 unless you are looking for that stretch look. Most sticky tires will be "oversized" as well, but you run into sidewall issues...........Unless you like stance nation

Now see, I've pretty much done all your homework for you

You ran a spec v wheel? Did you change your bolt pattern to 4x114.3?
what was the offset on the 18x8?

No I used to own a 2002 specv. My bad the rims were only 18x7.5 rota subzero's. I guess they were a +40 offset.

I have a set of 17x9's. I'll bolt one onto my classic and see how they clear. I think 235's are doable. I ran them up front and cleared. I am also running Progress coilovers.

Boostle. the point is to go wider than a 225. Spinning 3rd gear is cool when your 18 years old, Id rather have the grip myself instead of wasting the horsepower. The reason i'm asking for a 17x9 fitment is because thats the same exact rim I'm running on my spec v and i have a 245/40 on there. Id love to grab another set of dunlop star spec z1's and throw them on the b13. Im sure the handling would feel amazing too.
nismo tuner if you did that and took a picture that would be awesome
