Thread: aftermarket water pumps?

My water pump locked up today, has anyone had issues with aftermarket pumps? From auto zone etc?


I've had bad luck with some of them before, and the nissan one lasted 200k miles.

I put a auto zone water pump on about two years ago only cause I needed my car fixed ASAP and the 4 nissan dealers near me didn't stock the part .it looked and fit just like o.e.m and I've hadn't had any problems.

Thanks, I'll probably just get one aftermarket. I have to special order oil filters at my local nissan dealer, so I know a water pump won't be here soon.

The car needs some loving anyways.
