OK, off the top of my head since I just did this.
Engine and tranny will be removed as a unit through the bottom
You're going to keep the harness on the engine, and pull the main ecu connector & sub-connectors through the firewall
Up on jackstands
Remove battery & intake
Disconnect any Engine-to-chassis plugs, grounds, hoses, clutch cable etc
Remove ignitor & coil
Remove wheels
Remove axle nuts
Disconnect struts from hub
Drain all fluids
For p/s fluid, remove the 24mm bolt from the high pressure hose at the pump
Remove radiator and fans
Remove passenger side axle
If driver side axle is a bitch to remove, you can leave it in
Disconnect exhaust secondary from cat & remove downpipe
If you have a/c, remove the compressor from the engine, and hang it with a bungee cord or similar
Attach a chain to the engine - on the right side of the head, use the hole from where the ignitor mounted, and on the left front of the head, use the hole where the throttle cable bracket mounted, just to the right of the water neck
Attach engine hoist to chain and put some tension on it
Disconnect shift linkage & stabilizer bar at tranny
Remove top bolt from dogbone & center bolt from firewall mount bushing
Remove crossmember
Back out from under the car, now remove center bolt from passenger & tranny mounts, and then remove the mounts
Place dolly or scrap carpet under engine
Lower engine partially until you can pull the main harness through the firewall & into the engine bay
Disconnect electrical plug from power steering rack
Drop engine onto dolly
Disconnect hoist from engine
Loop a chain around the lower radiator support & pick the front of the car up enough to clear the engine
Put jackstands under car
Remove hoist, making room to slide engine & tranny
Slide engine & tranny out
Those are the basics. Just take your time, you should be ok.
