Thread: How much gear oil in a b13 tranny?

Hi I'm new here and I'd like to know how much gear oil do I need for my sentra? It's an SE-R if that helps

fill it on level ground till it starts to seep out the fill hole..

Im useing 3.5 quarts of redline mt90 cause thats all i had left. No problems thus far.

Andreas Miko swears that B13s need no more than 3 quarts. Hes right

Thanks guys, filled it up but unfortunately snapped an axle so there goes the gear oil.

BUT HERE'S ANOTHER QUESTION! How the hell do I unscrew the speedo cable from the tranny? Someone help please it's the only think holding my motor from being pulled out, other than this hurricane!

Mechanical Speedo just unscrews. Nothing special about It.
