Thread: b13/b14 strut compatability

Alrighty guys so I recently started building my brothers old B13 4 door that had sat in my driveway for years. One of my first orders of business was replacing the soft stock suspension. So I was able to find a set of front and rear b14 SE-R struts. There seems to be a lot of mixed information about this on the forums but from what I can find the front struts will fit without a doubt. But as far as the rear struts go i'm having a hard time finding any solid information on them. Anyone have any experience or answers for me?

rears don't work fronts should be done the other way around b13 into b14 because the b14 pistons are longer and will provide less travel in a b13

Fronts you want to stick with b13 as was stated before and there is NO compatibility between B13 and B14 rears, again, as stated before. I recommend you get the best shock you can afford with Hyperco or Roadmagnet springs.
