4 doors = more weight
If you want to go fast and handle corners, 4 doors are a waste IMO. I'd rather get a STi if I wanted more doors.

However, when done right I'll agree that sedan B13's look pretty good. Like Re-Spect's car. I love his sedan. I guess it all depends on what direction you want to go in.

With the E36 M3, the 4 door had a stiffer chassis. Does anyone know this about the B13? With the extra pillar in the middle, it seems likely that it should handler better with the same modifications done to both cars..

OP needs to clarify here, I thought this thread was about the all-original models, nothing about swaps.

The 1991-1994 Sentra 4 door GA16DE made 110hp and I think 108 ft lbs of torque, had rear drum brakes, no frikking tachometer (even in 5 speed) - and a "mild" suspension to say the least. Also the 91-92 SE-R seats and interior (leather wrapped steering wheel) was 10x better. Not to mention, 140hp and 132 ft-lbs. At the time, the SE-R had everything we needed really, and it was of course, a 2-door.

But if you're talking just about looks and including the possibility of swapping in DE and VE motors into these 4-doors, then the performance gap gets much smaller. I've seen great looking 4-door DE and VE's when done right.
