Thread: seibon cf hood fitment

i had bought a cf hood on the old sr20 forum. finally got a chance to put it on and it doesn't sit correctly. the left side has a huge gap. i have tried messing with it to sit right but it doesn't. any one else have this problem ?

bought a vis similar problem dremeld the latch a little and adjusted the fenders in and up and its not a prominent but still way worse than OEM. one of those good from far but far from good things. Not mutch else you can do OEM>Composite aftermarket

Had problems with my.VIS.hood doing the same thing. I.don't have any pictures right this instant because I'm on my phone, but i had a 5/16" gap on the p/side, and contact to fender on the d/side.

I.ended up chopping and doing threadserts with a lot of add'l fiberglass to make everything line up without binding up the hood latch.
