NADA puts it at 4300 max. I personally think its worth more. Why? Most NADA and KBB don't recognize an SE-R from an XE pricewise. There's $500 difference in "worth". Would I pay 4000 for an XE? No. Would I pay 4000, even 5000 for an SE-R? Heck yes. The SE-R based on rarity alone should command atleast 1000 more than an XE, maybe 1500. Production numbers of these were similar to a Buick Grand National, as quoted from a source on se-r.net. Is a Grand National commanding more than a regular Regal these days? You bet it is. A lot more.

47k miles is amazing for a 1992 car, BUT.... I have to agree with others and say that the $5,900 price is too much. Realistically I could see someone here obsessed with B13's paying $4,600 or so, maximum. Yes it's stock and unmolested and if you plan to keep it that way, assuming theres not a sludge fest up top in the motor, its a good deal. But I'm sort of wary of 20 year old cars with exceptionally low mileage on the odometers. It may have been driven less but we don't know HOW it was driven.

Very clean b13!! But...

Judging from pics steering wheel leather doesn't look 47k (looks like mine 228k miles)
Dash is lifting up (mine started to lift at 170k in az weather)
At 47k shift knob gear selection numbers should be very visible.
Engine bay doesn't look 47k- the 109k mile mint red b13 on eBay engine bay looked 47k miles.
End links shot at 47k???

I mean anybody can disconnect a speedometer cable.. Just saying...Otherwise this is another very
Clean b13 in never to find condition..

I noticed the steering wheel and shift nob too and thought it was kind of odd. However this is in the south where the sun can be brutal. Steering wheel can see a lot of that if it sits outside. Not sure about the sun affecting the shift knob tho. My car has almost 200k on the clock and my shift knob looks like that. I've never seen a b13 shift nob with the numbers visible though.

I dont care what anyone says this car does not have 47,001 miles on it. The below picture says it all and if you dont see it then I cant help you. I have never seen a car with 100,000 miles or less with the problem, and if this car was guarage kept it would not have this problem.

This picture here says alot about the 47,001 miles that should be on this car. I have never seen a steering wheel and shift knob with that much wear with so little miles. The number on the shift knob are completly gone.

I can't really tell from the picture, is that wear or dirt on the steering wheel? When I bought my B13 it had 63k, it still had the oem battery cover and the original spark plug wires. Is really hard to tell in the picture to see if it really has 47k.

Its not having the OEM battery cover is the problem.

The problem is the OEM connector to the battery has already rotted off and they have an aftermarket battery connector on the positive terminal.

My Blue SER has 78,000 miles on it I have pulled the engine out of it atleast 8 times and the original battery termonal connector is still there.

Mr SE-R I am sure your original connector has not rotted off and you are probably at 120-130 K miles.

Thank you Andreas for the information. I'd be happy to pay for your critical eyes on some hi-res photos of any additional questionable-mileage B13 I ever decide to buy.

The things that I was skeptical of was the steering wheel and shift knob. I lived in Houston with my no-garage-ever car. However I used a windshield sun-screen religiously. My steering wheel did not do what is pictured until after 100K. That is not sun-damage, it is oils and acids from your hands, combined with friction-wear. My original shift-knob also lasted until around 2007 or so (140K'ish miles), when it finally split along the seams, again from oil/acids and friction. The threads finally wore through.

That is probably 147K miles on the clock.
