I wouldn't do a damn thing to it. This is an example that needs to be preserved.

CORRECTION: I would remove the horrid sticker from the trunklid, the butt ugly floor mats and the silly rain guards.

As of February of this year the National Automobile Dealers Association stated that the average price of a used car was $11,850.

So forget for a moment that this is a classic SE-R, forget that it has a cult following, forget that it's super reliable and a blast to drive. As of today, $5,900 any decent used car with 47,000 miles on it is a good deal. A really good deal.

But, if you still think this one is priced too high, you could probably pick up a really nice 2001-2002 Mercury Sable for about the same price.

Totally agree with fixing those things. I chatted with the dealer online and it seems like a really clean OEM car, which we do not see much anymore. I also am tempted to pick this up, but am not sure I wanted to spend that much.

Perfect illustration! If that doesn't put it into perspective well enough, then all hope is lost for that individual!

I'll do you one better. For it's age, this car's "average" mileage should be around 160,000 - 240,000 miles on it as a "daily" car since most daily cars average 8,000 to 12,000 miles per year.

This is a rarity. With paperwork to back it up, someone is going to get lucky when they realize what this is and not shy away because of the car's age.

I think it obvious that you guys have your opinions on this..and so do I. Im not going to start a back and forth bickering to argue my point, but i will say this, who cares how many miles are on the car? you can get in a car, hold the throttle to the floor and blow it up without moving a foot.. there are plenty of members on this forum with 150,000< mile classics that would make this look like the 20 year old car it is. My opinion is that this car is overpriced... I would say 3500 maybe 4grand tops would be a more in the ballpark..

sr20guy...there is no reason for argument. I myself would not pay that exact amount and normally when a person has cash in hand, they have the bargaining room.

My first SE-R they were asking $3500 from a Nissan dealer in Napleton...I walked away on a $2000 offer and they called me the next day to tell me they'd take the offer. It had 104,000 miles on it and was untouched, just like this one.

The fact that they are asking that amount speaks nothing for the actual sale price.

I'm sure we all can agree on that.

The price seems about right, but a tad bit overpriced for its age and mileage, but that's my opinion. I say that because of the fact that my dad picked up our B13 for $6,000 with 77,000 miles on the chassis along with around $20k in mods. But then again, the B13 is bought from a private party and not a dealer. I hope the B13 goes to a good home!

Exactly, what the dealer is asking and what it will sell for are two completely different numbers. I bet they would take 1000 less than that cash in hand ready to go and i would pay that amount for that car and then drive it all the way back to Texas without a worry

One of the cleanest stock sentra i seen around,Hasn't been used or abused. Someone needs to buy it.

I paid 1400 for mine but it came with a few mods and a new DE swap.
