Great B13 mod in my opinion (free)
I probably could have done this in a "how-to" but I didn't think about taking pictures until I was almost done. I have always hated the location of my dome light because it casts shadows at night so I relocated to where my sun roof switch was and I relocated my sun roof switch to down under the radio. the dome light fit almost perfect in the sun roof bracket, just had to file and trim a little. My headliner is out because I am reupholstering it so picture it in if you will. All I had to do was cut out a 2 1/2 by 2 1/2 in square out of the trim under the radio and the sun roof switch clipped right in. The dome light harness is long enough to reroute to the front so not chopping of the harness there and all I had to do was extend the wired from the sun roof switch done the pillar and under the dash and it all works great. Gimme some feedback, lemme know what you think of this mod, I think it's pretty unique and still maintains a nice stock look.

interesting. i went to the junkyard and got a rearview mirror from a late model s10 blazer that had the lights built in. was $10 well spent.

Not a bad idea either, but you can't beat a free mod....

Man if I had a way to patch my headliner I would do that right away!!
How many wires do you have to run from the sunroof switch?

total of 5 wires ran across the roof, down the pillar on the inside of the trim, there is a gap between the dashboard and doorway and thenunderneath the dash and zip stripped all the wires together so there was nothing straggling. Make sure if you do this mod you center the whole you cut out, if you go to far to the right you wont have enough room to plg the sun roof switch up, sorry about the lack of pictures.

now all you need to do is paint the switch panel for the sunroof!
