Thread: Sunny Headlights/corners

Are the Sunny headlights glass or plastic?
Also,is the beam pattern wrong for a USDM car?
Will it be aimed and have a pattern for RHD cars like the NX Euro headlights are?

What are the differences in the corners..JDM,Tsuru,and USDM??
I know the Tsuru have an outer "bump"that the USDM don't have...but what else?

91-92 sunny headlights are glass
93-94 sunny headlights are plastic

I've used both types and never had an issue, H4 BTW

Could not exaxtly tell you but from my experience
You wont be able to use JDM corners on USDM lights, or JDM on Tsuru headlights, etc,etc.....they need some modification where the screw that holds them to the headlights goes

They are the wrong beam pattern for the US. It throws the majority of light to the left. I've been using them on my 93 for years now, and I do get flashed alot, but I'm not sure if it's the beam or the raw HID light.

They are a bit different shape. They aren't interchangable.

i never had a problem when i had the 91 jdm glass headlights

The corners are similar to the Tsurus but they have big amber cap inside of them. I had 6000K hid's in my Sunny headlights and never got flashed once. And the visibility was just as good if not better than my Hella Tsuru headlights. The Sunny headlights also have the DLR/city lights. The headlights glow dimly without the actual H4 bulbs running.
