I disagree, it completely sucks.

6K was the asking price on that Mike K car, and I'm not sure if he got the full price or not. He might have pulled the full 6K. And that vehicle was ridiculously fine.

The positives are that someone can buy a super-fine SE-R for 5K or less.

The negatives are that someone cannot sell a super-fine SE-R for more than 5K.

I guess it depends on your perspective.

you'll get what the buyer wants to pay. Flashing 2 grand in your face makes anybody reconsider

The only way to make any money back off any car you build is to part it out. Even then you will only get a fraction of what you put in. Hobbies don't make money they cost money. Looks like you have a nice starting point. Paint it, Fix it, drive it like you stole it.

i am pretty sure I will have my B13 for many many years to come.. there is no way I can get what it is worth to me.. nor do I think you will. unless you have absolutely no rust..

my (soon to be) VE powered B13 with minimal rust should be lucky to get $1750... it is what it is.. i would rather keep it then sell it at that price. Only a financial emergency would make me sell it.

Truth.
Buy these cars cheap and enjoy driving them. They are not a good investment from a money making perspective. They are a grat way to have a cheap, fun car, though.

me and my dad are the guys that bought the B13 Mike K. was selling. We paid the full $6k because of its ridiculously clean condition.
