b13 Door Rattle
1993 b13 that the door rattles on while going down the road. I cant seem to find any worn bushings or anything on it. Door is shut tight.... Is this a common issue? and is their a fix?

Could be 2 things:

1) The hinges need to be replaces, which causes the door to sag which could have a synergistic effect with:

2) Needing new weather stripping. If the wind noise is loud when going over 40MPH they both could have a part in this, it allows the passing wind to get in the crevices between the door and the pillars and therefore vibrate the door

Any idea where I could get a set of hinges and weather stripping at a decent price?

Hinges: rumor is you can use 240sx hinges for the uppers. The lower hinges you need to go to a junkyard if you want to get cheaper ones, but make sure THOSE aren't in need of replacing as well. Courtesy Nissan has a decent price on new ones, but decent is a relative term, probably $100 for a set.

The weather stripping I'm not sure. You'd probably have to go to a dealer (Courtesy again perhaps) or rig something. I have the same weather stripping problem in one of my B13's, I will get around to fixing it soon.

I have the weather strip problem and the wind sound is terrible! I finally narrowed it down to the weather strip that attaches to the door frames top that slant down ur windshield to your fenders. Close all your doors and look in the front of the car. There should be no gap between the weather strip and your door. For mine I have a big gap on one side and it's weird, the other side is flush and no gap. I tried 2 diff used weather strips and I still have that gap. I don't think my doors bent and I'm not sure how much expansion a new weatherstrip has that will fill that gap! I'm reluctant to spend $100 to find our...
