Thread: stop scrapping b13s

People dont care anymore 9 out 10 ser's get parted out and scrapped because the A. Have a billion miles B. Have very bad rust C. Who is going to pay twice the kelly blue book for one . Face it these cars are not worth money anymore except what someone is willing to pay for it . My car was up for sale but i didnt want to deal with the bullshit of people bitching that it has no a/c or heat ...then go pay the same price for one with rotted dooor jams and rockers and twice as many miles .

I could have bought a Z06 with the money I have put into my Sentra. It's not a investment for me. I do it because it is my favorite car on this earth. It's all personal satisfaction for me.

- That's why people here often return their cars to stock before selling. They can get decent prices for the aftermarket parts singularly but not if they stayed on the car.

- Anyone that spends $60k on aftermarket parts for one car is kind of nuts in my opinion.

- You're correct - a car is a bad investment. But it's pure joy, driving with the windows down at 8pm on a nice Friday night in June, especially our cars. Sometimes I think thats the whole reason I do all of this.

This is why my old man passed on his NX to me. It has been in his hands since 1993 and he did'nt want it to sit around and rot after he bought his mustang. He told me these cars would be rare someday. So I continued to take care of it and my SE-R and I couldnt love both cars more.

No rust in NW. Also they don't fade as much from all the hot sun in SW.
