Thread: HKS Catback. Still Make?

I'll support the HKS as well. I have it on the b13 and I'll tell ya now that for a bolt-on DE, there is nothing better out there. Nothing. Sound, quality, and appearance are great. However, after bolt-ons, the muffler sections is too restrictive on more modified motors. I'd love to run the exhaust on a VE because I hate the raspiness of a VE, but it'll choke the motor.

Sometimes you just can't find these. I got a used GReddy axle-muffler from a B13 setup and did a 2.5" system to the 60mm can with a resonator. That was pretty awesome. Most of the power and only a tiny bit of extra sound.

I agree that both that system and the HKS are very sensitive to rust so keep that in mind. With that GReddy I took a risk and the pipe was useless but the guts inside the can were still good.

Alright! I talked to every place that showed it in stock and that had a number to call. Some numbers were on infinite hold, others automatically hung up on me after so long. No one has it in stock. IT IS DISCONTINUED! That is what I was told and I can live that. I will wait on my VRS quote.
