I have extensively tested the CAI and the POP on the dyno and have found that CAI produces more power than the POP alone from 3500 rpm to the fuel cut. The gains were 8 hp@5500 rpm and 3 hp at the power peak.

He wrote that awhile ago and you also need an adjustable fpr or tuning to make it richer up top. Otherwise the two intakes kind of wash in power delivery. Look around on the forum and you will see theres a few ways to skin this cat that's all I'm saying. There are a lot of guys who just run a stock intake tube with an old gatorade or oil cap stuffed in the resonator hose or a VE has and POP Charger. Especially once you factor in different setups like VE or you aren't building a road racer.
I generally run both at different times
The velocity stack or horn on the POP charger everyone pretty much still agrees is good. Does the autozone thing have a horn on the end of the tube?
