Hmm... I don't see anything off the bat that would cause the noise...

And 2 exhaust studs are missing just from the ones I can see, there may be more. Your mechanic sucks.

yeah i know, but i had no choice at the time. he did fix my fans which were not working. but then again, it does sound like air is escaping from somewhere. i just cant figure out from where. when i accelerate, i could tell it lacks power. and i keep extremely good track of my gas consumption and i can tell that somewhere somehow its not burning it properly. what can it be?...

oh yeah, and thanks for posting my pics on the thread. yeah, they need to be resized. and yes, those throttle cables were just like that.

The most important part of my post is that you're missing at least 2 exhaust manifold studs, that's where you need to start. There's also one that's visibly longer that you should check. And the bare wire on the + terminal is a major worry as well.

And see that white plug at the red connector on the battery? There should be one just like it in the spot next to it, where'd it go? While you're at it, check the Electronics B fuse at the main fuse block inside the car.

right, i do remember not seeing any wires exposed on the battery. i almost think thats not even what it had before. i cant recollect seeing that. and the missing studs, i think i do remember those being missing and thats because whoever removed the old manifold, they broke the studs. i can see them broken off. what am i looking for in the fuse block inside the car again? coz i do check my fuses often. you mention the electronics b fuse, ill look for that. thanks.
