Which gauge cluster do you like better, 91-92 or 93-94?
Of course we all know Nissan swapped the tach and speedometer, changed the gas and temp gauges from horizontal to vertical, and switched the speedometer from 10 to 20 mph increments in 1993.

For me, I think I like the 91-92 look better. Perhaps because it's more nostalgic for me, as my first SR20DE powered vehicle was a 91. I now have a 93 and while I think it's more practical, I miss the old cluster a bit.

Oh and also the 91-92 tachometer has that line drawn from the center to 7000rpm.

91 92 for me. The redline is easier to see. Its right in the center and also nostalgic for me too. When I had a 94 it took a long time for me to get use to the changes. I DO NOT like 93 94 seat fabric. I know that was off the subject.

I like everything about the 91/92 SE-R better, except the taillights. I especially like the grey stripe on the rocker panels, and the interior. My current SE-R is a 94, and I'm converting the interior to 91/2 spec. What REALLY, REALLY sucks on the 94 is the deleted the fresh air vent control which lets you have cool air on your face & warm air out the footwells and/or defroster.

1992 was the sweet spot for B13 SE-R's because you could get cruise control.

Had no idea about the deleted fresh air control? I wonder why Nissan did that

Yep, they got rid of it, but the outline is still there to remind you. :burn:

I like the 93/94. I usually drive with my left hand, so its easier to shift with the tach on that side.

Hands down, '91-'92. 150 mph (in print) speedo FTW!
