I can assure you RTR was revving higher than we do, among other things.

RTR showed up on with a semi and a team. They had a budget, access to engineers, etc.

It's me and Joe. So tell the world more about our race team since you're an expert on the matter.

how about this...pack your shit and take your stuck up cocky ass self back to the b15 forum and bath in the drool of your dick swingers

Why is it you B15 guys seemingly always avoid the issues I brought up??

My point (and this is the LAST time I will state it)

VQ vs QR
Hoosiers vs T1S

Its like you Big J (2J) guys are deaf, blind and ignorant.............

And, if you want to talk years, here is when you guys started to build your setup
To start
09 National Champ
http://www.cardomain.com/ride/3843627/2002-nissan-sentra-se-r-sedan-4d

And the thread where yall switched to BC in beginning to middle part of 2010
2010 Pirelli Ultimate Track Car Challenge - B15sentra.net - Nissan Sentra Forum

So hmmmm, If I do the math correctly, we are in Feb 2012, correct? So you have had atleast 1-2 years development time...................This is all from YOUR threads you guys created...............

Anyways guys, good luck. This thread has no interest to me anymore as you guys still haven't tackled not one of the issues I raised with both the QR and the comparison you guys are making with real time (other than $$$$$$).

When you want to talk real data, numbers and facts please let me know.

As far as I am concerned, with how much I have simply rebutted your statements with actual facts while you guys come up with a bunch of BS, with no knowledgeably return on your part has really made me dislike the QR and how your guys go about "setting records" even more..........

I have laid out hard, proven facts;

1) Have a QR put out more power than the RTR boys
2) Have YOUR QR and T1S (or equivalent) run the times of the RTR boys

This comparison has NOTHING to do with money. NOTHING!!!

Simple.

I swear, its like I am talking to a wall...........

I have NOTHING else to say
Good day and good luck.
Again, I will stick to my statment

I will not BUY into the hype machine...........

P.S, That sheet that you provided is the sheet that shows what they were "allowed" to rev to, and not what they "were actually" revving to in race/qualy trim. The SCCA sheet is done based off a formula in order to equalize the grid. Its the limit the guys are given, and not necessarily what the guys are running. Did you even read a line of what the first page stated??

What you have provided me is a set of rules. In contrast, what I have provided with my extensive links is cold hard facts. And if you do your math, at circa 7K rpm, they were seeing pistons speeds rivaling (if not, SURPASSING) the likes of F1 engines. So based off common sense (and a little math) an extra 800 rpm for the rev limit would be stratospheric (even with the Ed Pink modified R/S ratio...............)

Come on, pull your heads out of your asses every once in a while...........You may learn a thing or two (which I will freely admit in the open, I have learned a few things from the QR myself)

And here is a question I would LOVE to get answered

Why was the 260WHP thread deleted?? Please, if anything, answer that question.

Thanks

P.S. Come to think of it, it goes to show just how incapable the QR/B15 chassis combination can be if Big Money could only make it remotely successful in a time when their budget far outpaced much of the other teams..............

Ok Hoosiers vs T1s
and VQ vs QR

Two aspects of a very deep and broad comparison.

What about corrected front roll centers, aluminum steering knuckles, 3 link rear suspension setup, a roll cage that ties the front strut tower together, a 2500 lb minimum weight, custom aero work, etc.

We run a different set of rules and have different restrictions.

what about funded race team with access to engineers vs. two guys??

Yes, it's not a "fair" comparison, but, I think it kind of comes out in the wash.

As far as the 260whp thread, we recently came into some stashes of RTR parts. They were offered to us to see what we come up with. It is not up for discussion, because internet forums are not the place for any discussion on that due to the over abundance of self proclaimed experts on the internet, so the thread was pulled.

I understand your argument as to why our accomplishments don't compare to RTR. I, however, have to disagree.

This thread is about two hillbillies that put a QR in an SE-R in case anyone forgot.

so how about you answer my question about the modification of the one motor mount? or do you only respond to people shit talking?

Excuse my ignorance and my mistake but.....

The whole thing is controlled by an EFI Technologies ECU and everything on the engine and even much of the suspension is data logged. The logs show the VTC isn't working. The engine still uses the stock, VTC variable-length intake manifold and the stock variable intake cam timing. The RTR engine spins to a staggering 7800 rpm, though.

So YES, they are revving to the Big J stated 7800 rpm. My apologies

But, the kicker; after only a few hundred miles, if I remember correctly, RTR was begging to see stress cracks appear all along the crank........

Big J, do you have pics of the rear suspension setup of the RT sentra? I do not currently have a picture set with me as they are on an entirely different computer

Repurposed front engine mount with some slight modifications with a piece of 1 1/4" square tubing bolted under it. There are a dozen different ways it could be finished off, but that will get you 90% of the way there. Easiest way would be to cut the post of the mount on the engine, drill and tap what's left of the stub to accept a bolt you run through the mount
I'd only do it this way with solid poly mounts, otherwise the diameter of the bolt you have to use might not be enough.
