WTF kinda shit is this? I kill those little buggies all day son. I hang with an rb25 swapped 240 until mid 4th gear. I haven't a day of experience with a ve, de, whatev.

That said, half of you dickhats don't have a clue to what your talking about (in reference to QR's that is). Pelko ran a 14.3 (or close, I can't recall EXACTLY) on a spec with frickin minimal mods. The spec Chaptdick, or whoever it was, ran at the track ran a 15.8? That's garbage ROFLMAO HAD to have been an se. Or I'm embarrassed for that driver.

There isn't any arguing that sr's are not good motors, or at least that they don't serve a useful purpose. QR's serve a purpose as well, and they do it quite nicely.

LMAO, I remember when the b series dudes were all "high and mighty" with their king shit, looking down on the k series motors as if they were plastic. What's up now?

BTW, that purple 200sx is pure tits. I'd rock that all day, even if it had a hamster in a wheel under the hood.

I can find a better looking table for $2,800 (price for a remanufactured QR), though an engine coffee table would rule ass lol. 18" wheels serve that purpose just as good.

I drive a b16 specv and all it needs it a fat shot of nos to hold some top end and ill drive it over the countless Sr cars I've had. I've had a ve a det a vet and some ve/det lol and everything inbetween and I still love my specV. I find it very funny though how serious people take their Dr pepper motors though (you may get that tomorrow over coffee) I have and I look back and its just commical. Touting about our big 200+ bolt on n/a motors that HP figure is just laughable. Most of us need to come back down out of the clouds and realize what we actually own. Hobbies. Not exotic expensive rarities. Hobbies. I love love love our cars but I also can't argue with anyone saying the qr is better because I PERSONALLY like em both and soon will be sinking money into the specv instead of any Sr powered car cause ive aleady had it all.

my buddy has a b16 spec v. light weight rims, pulleys, intake and a exhaust.

its dog slow, like he was wot and i was thinking to my self, he cant be serious this car is going no where.

the car is nice though, comfy seats, cool interior. for a 4 door daily car that gets good mileage its a nice car.

Why the fuck are u guys comparing a 2 vs 2.5 ltr engine?

Apples to oranges.

Unless an SR20 was 2.5 ltr no use in comparing... Just gonna argue over silly shit and 90% of the posts are either speculations or biased staments.

Especially since the SR20.. Was designed as a performance I4 engine

The QR was designed as a econ gas saver.... Internal EGR? Come on. its a truck engine, low end power,then...nothing.

Sure, build a 500+who QR... Woo hoo.
No one here cares.
Unless they feel threatened by a newer 4cly engine?
im not stating the QR guys want to be like SR guys and be the new staple of Nissan performance 4cly engines but QR will outlast the SR simply bc they are newer and simply bc more tuning company's are taking interest/making parts.

This is the Internet. U make a post and open ur self up to opinions.
Some will like others won't.
What's the point of coming on the board and posting this thread.
That's like me making a progress thread about my civic here.
Congrats on ur tuning company making progress for the qr community hopefully u guys resolve issues with your engines for the sake of power and continuing the Nissan 4cly legacy.
