Yeah, but will it chirp the tires in 3rd gear.

Mounting the subframe also let us fix the pro-lift and anti-dive characteristics of the suspension too. Its more than just a power number, which is why a VE car won't run circles around this car.

(which also will run cooler)

don't get me wrong i love the sr and i own more than one. but sometimes you people need to stop thinking so one dimensionally and look at what will work for the application. i think they will have a killer setup for what they are trying to accomplish.

You are more than welcome, and I expect you and the members from here to attend again this year. NYC is the unofficial B15 capital...lol.

I loved by B15 Spec V but it was really a labor of love, 3 engines in the course of a 9 month period.

When it got totaled I just shook my hands and walked away. Out of all the cars I owned it was one of the funnest because with just bolt ons it was deceptively quick. The interior was nice, it sounded good and got decent mileage. 6 Speed and RF stereo are the best parts I remember.

I will own one someday but think it might be a SE 2.0 with Spev V seats etc.

Why 3 engines in 9 months? You kept putting the stock exhaust manifold back on?

I agree with the ne being b15 central. Quite a few of nice b15 up there.

Where is the 2J racing shop (address wise, I know they are near Atlanta)? I've thought about this swap for the rallycar many times and I'd like to check it out in person!

A friend of mines did this swap down here 5-6 years ago. It was ok but not anything special. It was more trying to be different.
He now owns a B13 with a SR20VE. Either way it's still a NISSAN so I like it.

The first time I had a stock header, when the second engine went in I had them install the Hotshot header and loctite the intake manifold screws. Started making noise and consuming oil, dealer said it was normal (car was under warranty) so I brought it back once a rod introduced itself to the engine block. 3rd engine had 5k on it, then car got totalled.

That's your #1 problem, the dealer. Most of them don't know dick about it. They are very uneducated in the matter. I've heard of spec v's getting towed from the dealer because they couldn't fix it.

More than likely your second motor was a junkyard salvage, not re-manufactured as promised.
