Thread: ga16 problem

well i have a ga16de in a 91 sentra its got around 100.000 on it and now i have this recent problem of starting it and it will shut right off. i start it again and give a little throttle and as soon as it get to around idle it will stall again. but if i start it up and rev it w.o.t it will then idle fine. sometimes it does it sometimes it starts up no prob and idles. its all stock so im not to sure what it is. any ideas?

new filter and pump and reg seems to be up to par

Clean your maf, and make sure your intake tube isn't torn.
Mine would do that because there was a hole in the tube right before the throttle body so I would loose pressure there

Another thing to check is your injectors. Leaky injectors will do this. Also happened on my 91 ga

x2 clean your maf, or get a new one. happened to me
