Issue with new clutch
I installed a new exedy stock replacement clutch in my car. Transmission was put back on and everything aligned properly. When I tighten up the new clutch cable it seems to adjust well, but when I push in the clutch for the first time I hear a click and the pedal goes to the floor.
I went out to the engine bay to inspect and it seems the clutch fork rose up out of the transmission about a half an inch and slipped off the bearing? Anyone have any advice on this?

Take it back out and try to repin the rod. It's not "normal" but it happens

Before you take the tranny down, See if the fork feels disconnected

Sorry this is the best pic to exp what I "think" happened. Something along the lines of the locking/ Socket mechanism came out and needs to be replaced or reseated. Whatever it is, you might have to take the tranny down

The pin on the above pic PN 30532 prob broke off allowing the play. It’s a logical guess

Sorry, I think that you are going to have to pull the tranny again to see what went wrong. It could be something to do with the throw out bearing installation, or maybe the spring on the activation arm slipped out of position, or the arm could even be cracked.
