Introduction, and a problem.....
Since this is my first post I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself. I live in Vancouver, B.C. and picked up a B13 SE-R (1993) back in September for the great price of $1900. These cars are relatively rare here since they were on the Transport Canada "inadmissible" list due to the door mounted seatbelts. They are only legal now that they are 15 years old since, in Canada, if a car is at least 15 years old it is allowed to be imported, no questions and as a result we see lots of JDM cars on our roads).

The B13 had a few small issues with it when I purchased it, but I have fixed them, and it has generally been pretty good so far. I am fairly mechanically inclined and have been doing all the work on my vehicles for the past 6 years (except for tire mounting and alignments, but hopefully one day!).

The car has 157,000 miles on it, but doesn't seem to consume any oil and had the clutch done around 5000 miles before I bought the car. The VLSD seems to work well (pulls nicely out of corners), the paint is in good shape, and it's been pretty fun to drive.

This isn't my first Sentra - I owned a 2002 SE-R Spec V that I sold in December 2007 when I bought my 2004 Honda S2000 that I autocross competitively (or at least try to - I've been to SCCA Solo Nationals twice, and a National Tour and a Pro Solo every year for the past 5 years). I still have the S2000, but it is being used less on the street now, and is parked for the winter. I bought the B13 to drive during the winter and for those days when I need to move more than 2 people and a small gym bag

As for the problem that is having me stumped, I've described it in a separate, found here.

A few pictures of the vehicles I've owned over the past few years:

It's actually a bit of a pig with lipstick on it. The car looks like it was re-painted at some point (which is why it looks good) but is a little on the rough side. It had a leaky aftermarket sunroof in it when I got it, so the headliner is pretty wrecked.

It's also a bit of a ricer - it has a big fart can muffler on it, a header of unknown origin, what I believe to be ST sway bars, and a Stillen strut tower bar.

Part of me wants to strip it, cage it, and turn it into a race car, but then I'd need a new car to drive during the winter

If it makes you guys feel any better, we don't really get any snow up here (maybe 1-2 days a year).
