Thread: Driver's Door Stuck Shut

So late last week I went out to my car, turned the key in the door like I normally do and it felt a little on the "sticky" side. I grabbed the door handle and nothing happened. I unlocked the passenger side door just fine, and tried to unlock the door from the inside - again, didn't work. It feels like the lock isn't quite disengaging, so the door handle isn't doing anything. I can feel that it is just barely trying to catch, but isn't able to.

Anyone had this problem before? Any tips on how to get it unlocked? Slim jim maybe? Of course, because I can't get the door open I can't get the door panel off to take a proper look. Crawling over the passenger seat is getting pretty old, pretty quickly.

Sounds like the linkage has come apart. A lock smith can get the door open so you can put the linkage back together.

my trunk and driver door have that issue and key gets stuck i have to maddd play with it its pretty annoying trying to find replacement locks maybe put some ford locks on it

my b13 does the same if i lock the car and open it then lock it right away again my little unlock latch wont move and the key wont turn the lock to open it. its really starnge
