Thread: how the heelll do you get the speedo off?

well i was trying to remove the whole tranny, I've never done it before but the person who's helping me said it was necessary

Do like i said and just unscrew it right there with some pliers. It wasnt very easy to unscrew but once you unscrew it the cable will come out. Easy squeezy haha

to remove the tranny all you need to do is unscrew the cable if you need to take the "gear" out. u need to soak it in "pb blaster" or comparable. then tap it around to remove it after the little screw is out. if that don't work the part is brillte aluminuim, so you can break it with a hammer and pull the pieces out. but be careful not to drop any in the tranny.

jack up the car. get under it vise grips and just loosen it a bit and its off also remove the cluster cable

Why would you need to jack it up? =\ take off the intake tube and you have plenty of room to do it there unless your 4ft tall and can't reach it lol

thats how i do it at the junkyard i always go from under its easier than moving all the tube egr bs. lol
