Thread: 1993 b13 Transmission Issues

Hey guys I have a 1993 Sentra Se-r with a bad transmission. It is near impossible to find an exact replacement. Does anyone know what other transmissions will work ? Also im hoping to stick to an LSD transmission.

you can convert it to the b15 6 speed, the p11 5 speed (I think this one gives you better gas milage) I think there's a compatible thread on this forum or the other one (sr20forum.com)

so from what I can tell b13, b14, b15, trannys are all interchangeable? if that is the truth what is the best one for me to put in my car. My car has a few bolt ons, nothing major

When I blew mine I went with a b13, prior to this on my other Ser I blew a couple I say save a bit and buy a p11 I think its only minor modification to make It cable. But I'm no mechanic .

If I blow. My tranny again I'm buying a p11 and get over it.

yeah p11's have longer 4th and 5th gears for better mpgs

so which cars came with a p11? and assuming they all p11's came hydraulic? is their a DIY anywhere on making the p11 cable?
