Overheated?
So I pulled into my girlfriend's driveway and I get out of the car to go greet her and my car starts popping steam and there was coolant on the right side of the grill and bumper. I popped the hood and there was some coolant on the battery tray, but most of it was around this right portion of the radiator. Some of it looked like it made it to an engine mount, but that's it. Didn't see any burst hoses, just steam coming from this one part of the radiator. It was at the top too. I'll get pictures tomorrow, but does anyone have any idea? Bad radiator? I'm hoping not a blown head gasket. I overheated twice on my way home. Last time, I poured tap water in it and made it the 10 mile drive home.

you should confirm if there is a hole or not first.

and i would never use stopleak stuff in my car.

I confirmed that there are two leaks in the top of the radiator. What should i use to prevent overheating while i wait for my new radiator?

see if there is a way to pinch the hole in order to close it? Is yours a stock radiator or an aftermarket one?

I have a Mishimoto and it developed a hole because of the fans rubbing. I ended up just pinching the small hole and moving the fans 1/4" away so they don't rub.

There's two of them on the top. I can't really see them, but I see where the leak is, I just can't necessarily see the hole. It's the original radiator.

Welp. The car overheated again. I guess it's back to the drawing board. What I noticed though, is that my fans only come on when I turn on the A/C. I'm gonna check the low and high speed of the fans later and if they work, I gotta look into what else the problem with the fans could be. Anybody have any idea?
