but I listen to really heavy music.

all I know for certain is my speaker choice.

Infinity Kappa Perfect's 6.5 in the front and back.
Infinity Kappa Perfect 10inch unported sub in the trunk.

I suggest you run all your high's off of a 4 channel amp. I had my highs running off a amp and it was LOUD.. Loud enough to give me that buzzing ish sound in my ears when its turned up. What amp? Depends on your budget... Infinity isn't as great as you would think. I personally would say to stay away from them

Every single forum I went on advised the Kappa perfects for metal. I'd say at least 90 different people said those were the best before I even knew about them..

Idk..

What do you mean running my highs? As in all 4 6.5inch speakers?

Yeah exactly that. A lot of people recommend only putting the speakers up front but its annoying as hell to only hear the highs coming from in front of you so get 2 in the back and 2 up front. I'm saying infinity sucks just from experience and from what I've heard from a lot of people for the past 3-4 years unless something changed within the last few months

Problem with front and rears is that it actually messes up the sound stream. Just fronts does take some time to get use to but sounds better in the long run. Now if this is a four door, put the speakers in the door. If its a two door and you are the only person or have a passenger... the rears are really pointless.

Now you can do rears but on really low if it for the front seats. Then you can turn them up if there are people in the rear.

I usually run Infinity reference speaker, but I listen to more Rock, hip hop and Salsa music than anything else. I run an Alpine head unit which only allows you to run the speakers from the internal amp, or an external, not both. You are better off running them on an external and leave it at that. The power is cleaner and the speakers sound much better.

Okay so would I need to find one amp that can run 4 6.5's and a 10inch sub?

Why not just get 2 amps? One specifically designed for sub duty and one that can power your 4 6.5 inch speakers. I have used Alpine Type S speakers 6.5in in my front doors and rear deck without issue. The trick is to find a somewhat shallow speaker for the front otherwise you might have some issues.

Right on, Does anyone know if the Kappa perfects are shallow speakers?

Some guy in an above post said bi amping was bad.

I always though you were suppost to run 2 amps, one to the sub one to the interior speakers.
