Thread: Locked glove box with broken handle

The sentra I recently bought has a broken handle for the glove box. Most likely the previous owners locked the glove box and broke the handle. Either way, the lift handle to open it is gone and the glove box does not open. Anyone have tips on how to open it without having to break anything or is destroying the glove box the only option of getting it open?

i just hit mine a bit by the handle & the lil thing that locks it in place just gave out & the glove box open.. my glove box handle messed up too a few days ago i still havent bought a new one lol

just destroy the glove box and get one from the junk yard its a easy fix

You might be able to gain some ground by unscrewing the hinges from the bottom, if I'm remembering things correctly.

You have two options. 1. pick the lock 2. break the lock. the lock on the glove box is easy to break or pick. Its up to you. You can search basic lock picking on youtube.
