The coolant temp sensor is located on the firewall side of the engine near the oil filter. There are two sensors, and two connectors, a one wire and a two wire. The one wire sensor (also known as a temperature switch) goes to the temp readout in the gauge cluster, and the two wire goes to the ECU. They can be a little bit of a pain to get to and remove so prepare yourself.
A GA16 sensor is an identical part number according to Advance Auto, although you are always better off going with whatever is listed as the correct part for your setup.
